UK Medical Response (UKMR) provides Independent Sector Ambulance Services to the public on behalf of the NHS, Private and Public sectors. The company offers a flexible resource and technical expertise enabling NHS Ambulance Trusts as well as other sectors to optimise their operational performance and meet increasingly demanding national targets.

The 2005 Department of Health policy paper "Taking Healthcare to the Patient: Transforming NHS Ambulance Services" recognises the recent increase in independent sector ambulance provision, but requires that:

• The provided services are of equal quality as those provided directly by the NHS.
• Existing standards and legislation are consistently enforced through contractual arrangements.

UK Medical Response fully endorses and applies this approach in all the services we provide.

Public sector services such as concerts, sports events, shows, corporate or any event which requires ambulance service provision are treated no differently and also provided services with the same standards.
